The other day I had a chance to get out and go take some nature pictures!! (finally) My passion for photography came from spending time in nature and photographing its beauty.

Steve McCurry Award!!!!!

We recently had our annual exhibition at school and it was a huge success!! Thanks to all the people who came out. There was a fair amount of awards at the show and I was lucky enough to win one!! The one I won is judged by Steve McCurry. The title of the award is called the Steve McCurry Portrait Award of Excellence. I feel so honored to have won this award and I was completely shocked to hear my name called for this. Ever since I was a kid, I remember looking through old National Geographic Magazines and always being fascinated with Steve's photographs.
