Vanessa - Prana Quest

I recently did a shoot for Vanessa, she was looking for photo's she could use for her blog and asked me to help her out. Her blog is geared towards healthy living and simply enjoying life. Here is a link to her blog Prana Quest.

This was the first of two shoots we have planned, it was raining at the time of the shoot so we decided to move it indoors.

Here are my favorite frames from the shoot,

Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation memorial service

Yesterday I had the opportunity to cover the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation memorial service.  This ceremony is held to commemorate the firefighters that are killed in the line of duty every year all through Canada.

Here are some frames from yesterday's ceremony.

Holly & Tony

Last weekend I had the privilege to document Holly and Tony's wedding. This was my first time shooting a wedding on my own and I was very thankful for them putting up with me. I learned a lot from this experience, things to do and not to do. I hope to shoot more weddings in the future because I really enjoy the pressure that comes with weddings to get the perfect shot. It reminds me of press photography.

Congratulations Holly & Tony. Best of wishes!!

As the shoot was going we didn't notice that Ottawa Citizen photographer Wayne Cuddington was taking pictures of us for an article. This article has nothing to do with weddings but it's still a sweet bonus for Holly and Tony! Thanks Wayne! (click to see it bigger)
