Point and Shoot
I recently said I would be putting up weekly point and shoot photos. I soon realized this will be harder than I thought because I am so busy with school. Here are some more photos taken with my Olympus.

Professional models In the studio!
Yesterday in studio class we had a bunch of models from Angie's Models and Talent International come in. It was a pretty crazy experience. First we had to pick the model we wanted from a line of models and that in it's self is a pretty weird experience. After we pick the model that we wanted, we had to tell them what to wear. This didn't really apply for my shot because I was going more for a face shot. After that, we bring the model to our set and start taking the pictures. The one thing I didn't like about this workshop was the time constraint we had on this. Since there is so many students and such little amount of space and time for taking pictures, I was only able to take 5 shots. I kinda got what I was going for, but I wish I had more time to get exactly what I wanted.
The overall experience of this workshop was awesome. It's amazing how much easier it is to shoot with models then just random people who have no modeling experience. You tell the model what to do and they do it perfectly. I will for sure start shooting with models a lot more now.
Here is the raw image. I will post the final image soon!

The Black Sheep Inn
If you live or are ever in Ottawa, you must go see a show at The Black Sheep Inn. This place is located in Wakefield Quebec, it's about a 20 minute drive from Ottawa. The reason why I say go see a show at this venue, is because it's a very intimate experience. It's not like other venues in Ottawa. It has the vibe of a coffee house except it's a bar, so it has beer and nachos! When the event is going on, the place is lit with candles and every one is super laid back. The service is also excellent. This is an experience you won't forget. Make sure to go early so you can grab a table, the place fills up pretty fast.
This photo was taken when I was in wakefield during the day. I didn't take any pictures during the show because it's so dark and I didn't want my flash to disrupt the show.

Here is just a quick snap shot of what my school's downstairs studio looks like when a shoot is happening.
