Oilsands Rally on Parliament Hill

About 500 people gathered on the Hill today to protest Alberta’s oilsands development and proposed pipeline to the Texas Gulf Coast. The whole place was fenced off and if you climbed over the fence you were instantly arrested. About a 180 demonstrators chose to hop the fence to make a stand.
