Tibetan March

On November 2nd 2011, The Regional Tibetan Youth Congress (RTYC) in association with other Tibetan groups from the Toronto area rallied on Parliament Hill for a global peace vigil in Ottawa. They then marched to the Chinese Embassy to make a stand for world intervention against injustice and dictatorship.

For the last few weeks young Tibetans have been setting themselves ablaze. These young Tibetans have chosen death over life instead of enduring the Chinese oppression they face everyday.

They are calling for world leaders, who consider human rights as their core value to call on China at the G-20 - Cannes, 3rd and 4th of November, 2011 where President Hu Jintao is expected, to condemn its repressive measures across Tibet.
